Emerton Records is a company that encourages, empowers and equips people in to the direction of their dreams and goals. We are a Vancouver, Canada based company with a vision to encourage artist development and production, and also to facilitate careers in the entertainment industry, focusing specifically on the music industry. Our desire is to do what we love but also to enjoy the journey and have absolute FUN doing it. We address artists in areas of singing, songwriting and production, to business and marketing plans, industry workshops, career networking and image consulting.

As a businesswoman, recording artist and songwriter herself, Emerton’s CEO Marika Siewert is no stranger to the industry, and has worked with top North American, internationally acclaimed producers known for their work with The Backstreet Boys, High School Musical, Jesse McCartney, Stacie Orrico, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Rowland, NKOTB’s Jordan Knight, and more. She has numerous film and television credits to her name and songs, as well as a performance history that spans the globe through live and television appearances throughout the past ten years. MARIKA still maintains a thriving career as an artist and songwriter while being able to create a team to help others launch their own careers in music.

Emerton Records desires to take artists who are focused and determined, and assist in the formation of their careers. We do this by first determining the artist’s personal vision and goals, then create and build local and international platforms in all aspects of performance and exposure in the entertainment industry and worldwide media. There is a huge need for incredibly talented artists to just be given direction in terms of simple marketing plans, production plans even image consultation and funding, as often times artists solely focus on their singing or songwriting without knowing where to go next. Emerton records has built, and continues to build worldwide extensive networks to get the artists the exposure they want and need to move forward in the direction of their dreams.

Emerton also values the artists collectively, in which we provide an environment for artists to build relationship and camaraderie, we celebrate each other and support each other in our various careers, and we make sure amongst all the work, we positively encourage much laughter, fun and even time to rest to influence creativity. We want to bring to the world music that moves people and touches people’s hearts. At Emerton we are world changers, music makers, and big dreamers, and we are just getting started!
